Tanishqa Bhosale from Pune has been appointed the state directress of the Miss Universe India competition for Maharashtra. She is the founder of the Miss Universe Maharashtra competition and will be responsible for the selection of the representative(s) from the state of Maharashtra for the upcoming Miss Universe India contest – the Indian preliminary event to the world’s biggest beauty pageant, Miss Universe. Tanshiqa is no neophyte to the world of beauty pageants. A former Miss India, her tryst with pageantry began in 2018 when she was crowned Miss India International and represented India at the 2018 Miss International competition in Japan. She is regarded as one of the most beautiful Miss India winners in recent times and is one of the youngest winners in the history of Indian pageantry. Tanishqa holds a master’s degree in business management and is a model and entrepreneur. After 7 years, a non-Indian Miss Universe titleholder is going to visit India. Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua will be visiting India this May. She will arrive in India on May 7, 2024 as part of her Indian tour and will stay in New Delhi till May 10, 2024. One of the prime purposes of her visit is the launch of the Miss Universe India competition under the new management of the Glamanand Group.
